 Q-Ride combined refresher course and assessment 7 hours

Total cost of course including motorcycle  hire $385

This course is designed for Riders that have some experience riding motorbikes , for example dirt or off-road riding ,and  already have a good understanding of clutch control and changing gears.

Q-Ride Full Training Course 14 hours over two days

Total cost of full course including motorcycle hire $770

This course is designed for the complete novice learner rider, and covers everything from
The correct use of protective clothing, rider posture, correct use of all controls , motorcycle pre- ride checks , motorcycle maintenance,basic operational skills, basic on road riding skills,and manoeuvers,road rules,observation and defensive riding skills and on road assessment. 
When you have demonstrated that you are competent in all of the Q-Ride competencies, the student will be issued with a competency declaration known as a  Q-Ride certificate .

Before you can ride a motorcycle on a road unsupervised , you must first take your current licence and Q-Ride Certificate to Queensland Transport to have your new licence issued. 


Q-Ride Refresher Course  2 hours

Total cost of course including motorcycle hire $110

The refresher course is designed for a rider that wants to obtain either their Re Restricted or R Unrestricted licence and believes and they can demonstrate the required competencies and skills necessary to pass the Q-Ride assessment,  however would like to practice or refresh those skills prior to an assessment.

Q-Ride Summative Assessment 4 hours

Total cost of assessment only including motorcycle hire $220

This is the assessment that all motorcycle riders must successfully complete to be granted either their, RE Unrestricted or R Unrestricted motorcycle licence.

Summative Assessment could also be described as RPL (regognised prior learning) 
Summative Assessment is a process whereby you the student, in consultation with your Q-Ride assessor,revise,demonstrate,and collect evidence, usually oral,written and practical, that documents your experience and ability to carry out each of the functions as outlined in the list of required competency standards as outlined in the full Q-Ride course.Summative Assessment is designed to establish whether a person has already developed the skills, knowledge and attitude which would normally have to be acquired through completion of the full formal Q-Ride training course .all group training and rates by request.
